Nail-Down and Glue-Down Installation

Nail-down installation is the traditional method for solid hardwood over a wood subfloor, and it is what most Roswell houses take. Fixing every board down gives you a floor that stays put and can be sanded back and recoated several times before it ever needs replacing.

Where a room sits on concrete, such as a basement or a lower level cut into the hillside, engineered plank is glued down instead. Below grade it copes with slab moisture far better than solid wood, and a thick wear layer means it can still be sanded later.

Sand and Finish Refinishing

Tear-Out & Subfloor Preparation

We lift the old covering and look at what is underneath, which in Roswell is often original boards worth keeping. Loose boards get refastened, damaged ones replaced, and dips leveled before new wood goes down. We screen off the rooms we are not working in so dust stays out of them.

Installation
